One of my favourite necklaces I’ve been asked to

One of my favourite necklaces I’ve been asked to make. Not only was this for a wonderful woman, I worked with her husband to make this extra special. We sourced the Roman Silver Denarius bearing Augustus, her favourite emperor, and set it in 18kt Yellow Gold on a beautiful double link chain. We kept the back open so she could decide which face to wear it on. I’m sharing today as it has been Ferragosto in Italy. A national holiday which was started by Emperor Augustus himself. Buon Ferragosto!

A hand Cabochon cut Topaz was cut in house especially for this piece taking great care with angles so it can be set in line with the prongs creating a beautiful seamless line which hugs your finger when worn. 8 months in the making with various prototypes this is a true example of good things come to those who wait.
